Title:Ohio Nights

Ohio night is based a night that i was on the way to Ohio to visit family and i seen the city of Columbus with this big moon in front . It was amazing I've never seen a moon so big in my life. It was this bright whitish yellow glow and it lit up the sky .Also it was over a lake that was still and it reflected  the water almost perfectly.

                How I did it :

I used black paper with white color pencil. I started with the city and gave it a faded glow with some lights on to show some realness. Next I started on the lake and gave the city a morphed looked and gave it a wavy look.then added the moon with a bright yellow color with a glow

media : Black Paper and White color pencil

This is a piece I did for Black History Month. Its a silhouette of  MLK .JR . I did this piece to show his strength and passion for what he fought for. He showed me a lot of stuff that he did that i never knew about and allowed me to build more of respect for MLK .JR and for what he stood for .

                How I did it :

I used black paper with white color pencil. I started with the silhouette and work a glow around him to show his stance and strength then added quotes around him to give a great representation of what a man he really was.

Title:Strong Fight
media : Black Paper and White color pencil

This is a piece I did for fun and i really enjoyed doing it .This piece is Pyramids but done in a "wood block print style" with fine details and odd colors that somehow go together . This piece was just trying something new and gave me a lot of headache and a lot of fun

                How I did it :

I used acrylic paint to blend weird colors that go together. I tried to use the wood block painting style and change it and put a different type location by using the pyramids.

media : Painting canvas and acrylic paint
Title:Japanese Pyramids
Title:realism
media : pencil and paper

This piece was the first piece that I tried realism on and its turned out great to me I was able to use many different shades of black. This piece was really just a last minute thing and it turned out great. I made the man in the piece surprised with a great contrast in the face.

                How I did it :

I used simple tough paper and a pencil and made different shades of black to make it show the shadows and darker areas and gave bright eyes to give him  great contrast

Title:Vert Garage
media : pencil and paper and ruler

This piece was based of a hobbies of mine. I've always wanted to own my own garage. I have a big passion for cars and in love with the ideas that SUBARU is doing and I tried to add that with my own style. This was a really hard project for me just because of all the lines and shading I had to do but I really liked the idea of the project.

                How I did it :

I used simple tough paper and a ruler to put the lines on the points and keep them straight to have them look like real buildings and just kept adding things in to make it look like a real garage on the street.

Title:Elements an Principles
media :poster paper , color pencil, pencils

This piece was done to show all the elements and principles of art . I used all them to show each different style they bring to art and gave it my own twist with a brick background with graffiti letters.

                How I did it :

I used all the elements with a color pencil or just a simple pencil to show the difference in them.

Title:Kanaloa
media :Clay

This piece is clay shaped into the god of the sea, Kanaloa. This project was really hard because even though it was hands on there was so many steps and things. I really thought is was a cool way too incorporate the Polynesian culture.

                How I did it :

I used clay and slipped and scored every piece from the dread locks to the crown and close mouth. It shows him as a calm king of the sea and shows his strengths.

Title:Northern Lights
media :Water color paint

This piece I really did not like this piece because water color paint is light and very runny. Even though I did not like this project it gave me a good idea to create the northern lights because of all the mixing of colors and the light and dark differences.

                How I did it :

I used water color paint to start a wash and apply color to create smooth back runs to make them blend well then added it the trees only if I finished I think it would have came out great and would have came out different.
